Iranian Umrah pilgrims wear Ihram

Iranian Umrah pilgrims, after visiting the shrine of the Prophet (PBUH) and Imams of Baqi (As),put on Ihram clothes to visit kaaba and went to Mecca.

According to the Hajj information base, after five days of staying in Medina and visiting the shrine of Prophet (PBUH), the imams of Baqi and the martyrs of Uhud, Iranian Umrah pilgrims arrived at Shajara Mosque last night and put on Ihram clothes.


Pilgrims of the Kermanshah caravan in the Shajra mosque, one of the seven miqats, with the intention of Umrah, removed their worldly clothes and put on the servitude and purity of Ihram.


Umrah pilgrims went to the Kaaba while saying Talbiyah, Labaik Allahuma Labaik. They left for Mecca in a spiritual atmosphere.


It should be mentioned that a caravan of pilgrims from Kurdistan province also have gone to Mecca earlier and these two caravans are the first caravans of Iranian pilgrims after the 9-year suspension of Umrah.


Shajara Mosque, which is also called Dhul-Halifa Mosque, is one of the historical mosques of Medina region, which is located 8 kilometers southwest of Prophet’s Mosque and on the way to Mecca. The mosque is the miqat of those who go from Medina to Mecca for Umrah Tamattu and Umrah Mofarda.
