Hojjat al-Islam Navvab Stresses Need to Set Up Grounds for Increasing Dispatch of Pilgrims to Holy Shrines

According to the Hajj Information Base, in this meeting which was held on Monday under the chairmanship of the Supreme Leader's representative to Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, Hojjat ​​al-Islam Navvab, referring to the number of pilgrims who went on pilgrimage between Shahrivar 15 and Mehr 15 of this year, emphasized the need to lay the groundwork.

He emphasized the increase in the share of pilgrims sent to the holy shrine in the form of Hajj and pilgrimage caravans.

Navvab asked the officials of this field to make more efforts for the provincial Hajj and Pilgrimage participants.

He said that considering the possibility of foreign exchange provided in this sector, which has been with the cooperation of the respected government, with proper management and guidance, in addition to increasing the attraction of pilgrims, it is possible to provide more satisfaction.

In the continuation of this meeting, Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei, Hajj and Umrah deputy of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, announced his and the members of the housing committee's trip to Saudi Arabia in the coming days.

He said that during this trip, there will be consultations with the officials of the host country about some preliminary issues in the areas of Hajj and Umrah, and efforts will be made to realize the points desired by the Islamic Republic of Iran, and, God willing, the Umrah journeys will begin with strength.

Mr. Rezaei stated that the most important issues in the field of Hajj and Umrah in the country are its price, the mode of transportation and flight, and he pointed out the importance of accompanying the institutions and organizations responsible in these areas with the organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage for the faster resumption of Umrah trips.

The Supreme Leader's representative also emphasized that Umrah is being launched and coordination between the relevant authorities is necessary for decision-making and information in this regard.

He added that the non-preparation of work by some organizations and related bodies has caused a change in the schedules for the call for registration and dispatch of pilgrims.

At the end of this meeting, Hajj and Umrah Deputy Director of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization gave a report on the per capita staff of central kitchens in Medina and Mecca in previous Hajj and listed the damage and its impact on Hajj operations and proposed solutions.

"Considering the use of new methods to prepare and serve food and the facilities that exist in some hotels to provide food services to pilgrims, it is possible to use the review of different capacities to reduce the forces," he added.

Head of Iranian pilgrims also pointed to the visits of himself and the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to the hotels of Mecca and Medina and the opinions of the pilgrims about the quantity and quality of food in the last Hajj, and emphasized the need to pay attention to the opinions and wishes of the pilgrims.

He added that in addition to increasing the variety of food, the possibility of outsourcing some work to trusted people should be considered through study and expert work and move in a direction that increases the satisfaction of pilgrims in the future Hajj.

Mr. Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, considered the handing over of various departments of the Hajj executive affairs in the direction of popularization, and said that the Hajj Organization has moved in this direction and has done and is doing what is possible with expertise, but at the same time in some parts There is no possibility of handing over financial issues, etc.
