The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization announced the presence of representatives of his organization and Iran's Central Bank in Saudi Arabia to facilitate banking affairs for the honor of Umrah pilgrims.

According to the Hajj Information Base, in session of the planning council of the Supreme Leader's representative and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, which was chaired by Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Hojjat al-Islam Abdolfattah Navvab, Mr. Seyed Abbas Hosseini made the announcement, and said, "Negotiations are conducted with the representatives of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Central Bank and the bank acting on the account of the Hajj organization in Saudi Arabia.


He also mentioned the follow-up of Hajj, Umrah and Atabat flights in a recent meeting with Mr. Mohammadi Bakhsh, head of the Civil Aviation Organization, and said, "The representative of the airline company is going to travel to Saudi Arabia in this connection."


The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also listed the measures taken in the field of infrastructure and preparing the software needed for Umrah.


In the following, Mr. Hamid Reza Mohammadi, the Deputy Director of Atabat, presented a detailed report on the operational plan to improve the contribution of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in sending pilgrims to the holy Atabat and the statistics of the missions to Iraq since 1395 and the number of pilgrims who have been sent to Atabat since the beginning of November was announced to be 67,000.


"Since the beginning of this year, a total of 307,000 people have been sent to the shrines in the form of caravans under the supervision of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, which has grown by 63% compared to the same period last year," he added.


The deputy of Atabat of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also listed the existing challenges, plans to increase the number of pilgrims and incentives in the area of ​​Atabat and expressed hope that the number of pilgrims sent to Iraq will reach 450,000 by the end of this year.


In the continuation of this meeting, the representative of the Office of Supervision and Inspection sent an investigation on the implementation of the new Atabat plan in various sectors, including accommodation, transportation, nutrition and medicine, and the number of people who have traveled in the past two months in the form of caravans of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization  have gone to Iraq through air and land borders, he pointed out.


The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs also considered the information about the services provided in the caravans covered by the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization to be very effective in the choice of pilgrims and pointed to some solutions to increase the quality in the areas of accommodation, food and transportation. Expressing the interest of the people of our country to travel to holy places throughout the year, he asked the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization to fix the problems, provide proper infrastructure, management, support and supervision, to attract more pilgrims by this organization.
