Hajj Representatives in Saudi Arabia Attend Planning Council Meeting Form of Video Conference

In the video conference between Hajj and Pilgrimage officials and representatives sent to Saudi Arabia while reviewing the measures taken in connection with Hajj and Umrah visits, it was stated that sending Iranian Umrah pilgrims in the coming weeks becomes possible.

According to the Hajj Information Base, Monday's session of the planning council of the Supreme Leader's representative and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was presided by Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, and Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei, the deputy of Hajj and Umrah of the Hajj Organization, and Hossein Esmaili, director of supervision and inspection of the Supreme Leader's representative office announced this and added that in negotiations with the representatives of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Central Bank and Saudi companies, they all welcomed the journey of Iranian Umrah pilgrims and are ready to cooperate in providing grounds for the resumption of these journeys.


Mr. Rezaei positively assessed the interaction and negotiations and said that following up on the demands of the past two Hajj pilgrimages is also on the agenda for this trip.


In this meeting, Mr. Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization stated that it is hoped that the allocation of the Umrah currency and its rate will be finalized in the coming days, and he pointed to the negotiations with the head of the Civil Aviation Organization for the provision of Umrah flights, and said that the price of the travel ticket of Umrah is going to be finalized and the expectation of the Hajj organization is to announce a suitable figure considering the similar flights that also take into account the pilgrim's rights.


In this video conference, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs asked the representatives sent to the host country to carefully examine the current conditions of the Saudi market and to conduct their negotiations with the institutions and companies of the interacting parties in this country in accordance with dignity, wisdom and expediency, as well as continue to achieve results.


"The host country must somehow monitor and manage the activities of the companies so that they do not go to business, so that pilgrims from different countries are not treated unfairly," he stressed.


In the continuation of this meeting, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization pointed out that the measures taken to solve some problems in the area of accommodation for pilgrimage trips to Iraq, and Mr. Hamid Reza Mohammadi, the Deputy Director of Atabat of this organization, explained how to prepare tickets for Atabat flights.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also considered the sale of most charter flights to Iraq to the detriment of pilgrims and emphasized that the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the Civil Aviation Organization should pay attention to the President's emphasis on easy, cheap and pleasant pilgrimage in the allocation of Atabat flight tickets to perform their sovereign role in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.


"This action has an effect on the way of making it cheaper and providing convenient and pleasant services to the pilgrims of holy pilgrimage, which is one of the demands of the government," he added.
