The first caravan of Iranian Umrah pilgrims, escorted by the officials of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, left Imam Khomeini (RA) Airport for Medina.

According to the Hajj Information Base, during the farewell ceremony of the first Iranian Umrah caravan, which was held this Monday morning (Ordibehesht 3rd) at the Salam terminal of Imam Khomeini Airport, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative  in matters of Hajj and Pilgrimage, gave a few words of advice. He told Umrah pilgrims going to the Land of Revelation to make the best use of this spiritual journey.


Head of Iranian Hajj Pilgrims addressing the pilgrims of the House of God who left for Madinah in the form of the first Umrah caravan after a nine-year hiatus, said: "Sincerity in work is very important and a work based on sincerity will last forever," everything late Imam did was for God and that's why he never regretted the path the took.


The head of Iranian pilgrims continued that try to increase "your knowledge and information about the goals and plans of Hajj and Umrah trips and make the most of the opportunity to attend the meetings held in the land of revelation".


Stressing that in this spiritual journey one should appreciate the opportunities, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab asked those present who are going on this journey to take advantage of every moment and be appreciative of the opportunities.


"Dear ones, you waited for 9 years and spent a lot of money to go on this spiritual journey. Many people registered to attend the seminary, but they died before they could go to the land of revelation," he added.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated that not taking advantage of the opportunities in this trip will lead to many sorrows, adding, "Umrah is light, pray for yourself and your generation during this trip. Today's situation of my children and yours is complicated and more difficult than the previous generation because religion has become more difficult."


Referring to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the oppressed and defenseless people of Palestine and the indifference of the supporters of this occupying regime to the genocide in Gaza, he said, "Pray for our children next to the Kaaba and remember all Muslims, especially Palestinian Muslims, who are at the hands of the military every day. The occupying enemy is martyred." 


Stressing that it is mentioned in the narrations that the blessing of health and safety should be appreciated, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated, "Our Muslim brothers and sisters in Gaza are in a very difficult situation and are suffering from hunger."


At the end, he considered the presence of Shia and Sunni brothers and sisters in this ritual as a sign of empathy and unity among the people of Iran and advised the pilgrims to increase their knowledge of the practices, secrets, knowledge and rituals of Hajj and Umrah.



He also appreciated all the active and helpful institutions, institutions and organizations in the field of restarting Umrah journeys and holding the upcoming Hajj ceremony.


According to this report, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was other speaker of the ceremony who said, "I ask the pilgrims of God's house not to deprive the people of Iran of their good prayers and to consider this valuable spiritual journey as a treasure."


Seyyed Abbas Hosseini also asked the Iranian Umrah pilgrims who are going to the land of revelation after 9 years of waiting, to pray for the liberation of the oppressed people of Gaza from the harsh conditions of the war, which these days are the target of attacks and fire by the Zionist regime.



Hosseini added that 18 organizations, institutions and ministries help the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization in organizing and sending pilgrims to the land of revelation, for which we should thank them.


The head of the Hajj Pilgrimage Organization also praised the ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Tehran for his assistance in resuming the Umrah pilgrimage.


In the continuation of this ceremony, Saeed Chalabari, CEO of Imam Khomeini (RA) Airport City emphasized the complete readiness of Imam Khomeini (RA) Airport to provide service to pilgrims and said that Salam Terminal of Imam International Airport with 54,000 square meters of special area for pilgrims God and Atabat are supreme, and 15 and a maximum of 140 flights fly from it daily (at the peak of Arbaeen pilgrimage days).


CEO of Imam Khomeini Airport City (RA) said that in Salam Terminal, the necessary capacity for parking 10,000 cars has been predicted and the provision of services is at the level of international standards.


He added that 160 trips are made at Imam Khomeini International Airport (RA) every day and night, except for the flights of Atabat, and this airport is proud to have hosted one million pilgrims of the Atabat of His Highness and the pilgrims of Hajj in 1402.


Shamsuddin Farzadipour, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines (Homa) also considered the participation in the operation of sending Umrah pilgrims to the land of revelation to be a divine blessing for which he should be grateful.


"We thank God that we have the success of serving the pilgrims of the house of God and the first caravans are pilgrims from two provinces of Kermanshah and Kurdistan.," he added.


He further added that the Umrah operation will be carried out in the month of Shawwal by making 44 round-trip flights from 11 airports in the country, and more than five thousand pilgrims will be sent to the land of revelation, and this operation will end on May 23.


Farzadipour said that the operation of transporting Hajj pilgrims of Tamattu 1403 will start from Ordibehesht 24th, and the Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines will serve pilgrims of the Land of Revelation with all its strength, as in previous years.


It should be noted that the first caravans of Iranian Umrah pilgrims arrived after 9 years of waiting at 7:12 this Monday morning (3rd of Ordibehesht) during a ceremony accompanied by Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, the representative of the Islamic jurist in matters of Hajj and Pilgrimage and the head of Iranian pilgrims. ; Seyyed Abbas Hosseini, Deputy Minister of Culture and Head of the Hajj and Ministry Organization, Maulvi Ishaq Madani, Head of the Supreme Council of the World Assembly of the Approximation of Islamic Religions; Abdullah Bin Saud Al-Anzi, Saudi Ambassador to Iran, Saeed Chaladari; CEO of Imam Khomeini (RA) Airport City, Shamsuddin Farzadipour, CEO of Iran Air and a group of deputies of the Supreme Leader's office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held at the "Salam" terminal of Imam (RA) Airport, and Iranian Umrah pilgrims visited Masjid al-Nabi and Baqi Cemetery. Performing Umrah rites, they left Imam Khomeini International Airport (RA) on an Iran Air plane bound for Madinah Airport.
